Originally
concived as an informal gathering of Christians from all
walks of life, the purpose being to gather together in fellowship,
talk and enjoy music that is dedicated to the Lord Jesus
Christ, This is also a place to go and meet new people in
a clean, family safe environment. We encourage the
general public to come and enjoy the excellent artists we
feature in a neutral, friendly atmosphere.
Christian
music has come a long way these days. Many of us who
have
had little exposure to contemporary Christian music may
be pleasantly surprised by the depth and variety today's
artists are producing. While we understand not everyone
accepts contemporary styles of music as Godly, we take
guidence
through the many Psalms and verses throughout the Bible
that encourage new song. Though music constantly changes,
it is the message of the words and a heart to minister
that set it apart.
We
seek to present a variety of genres, so
we are sure to eventually have something that will appeal
to your particular tastes. We choose our guest
performers with care, that they uphold the basic principals
of the Nicene Creed widely accepted by most churches
who accept and teach the
whole Bible as the inerrant written Word of God.
Since
the church is a body of believers and not a building, we
meet as Christians to witness through music, the joy of
Christ and how Jesus has touched their lives through His
love and His message of salvation.
"For
where two or three come together in my name, there am I

Also, thanks to the many musicians and friends who donate
their time and talent. Thanks be to our Lord Almighty for
His provisions. There is no admission charge. Please
invite friends and family.

General
Info
The
Coffeehouse takes place on the 1st and 3rd Friday
each month at 8:00 PM and takes place in
the Sanctuary. Doors open at 7:30- we reccomend you arrive
early. Show starts promptly at 8pm. The setting could be
described as "concert-esque" and will seat about
175 comfortably.
The
evening usually features 1 or occasionally 2 artists/groups.
The first will start around 8pm. We generally recommend
a 45 minute set. Then we head down to the fellowship hall
for refreshments and fellowship. Around 9 pm, we return
to the sanctuary for the second set. We recommend a 55 to
60 minute set. Generally the evening concludes by 9:45 PM.
Love
Offerings
These
artists practice hard, travel long, sometimes across the
country and even from other countries in some cases, investing
a lot of their own resources to play just for you in His
Glory. There is no admission although we do highly recommend
a goodwill or “love” offering that will be gratefully accepted
for each artist/group. Give what you feel lead to give.
You may also consider purchasing the artist’s CD’s that
are often available at these shows. Your contribution will
go a long way towards helping these artists continue their
good work.
